In this two-day class, you will develop the knowledge and practical skill needed to set up, deploy, and maintain nShield Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and maximize the value of these devices for your organization. Designed for system administrators with or without experience in cryptography, the class covers principles of cryptography and the role played by the nShield family of general-purpose HSMs and the Security World architecture in securing sensitive and high-value data.

In hands-on sessions, you will master common installation and administration tasks that prepare you to set up and manage nShield HSM devices in your own environment. Topics include configuration, software installation, Security World creation, disaster recovery, remote operation, and maintenance. Each attendee who completes the course and passes the exam will receive a certificate recognizing his or her status as an nShield Certified Systems Engineer (nCSE).
