Thales today announced an agreement with Finnish software company, Secgo, to sell SafeMove to governments and other selected customers. As an innovative Mobile VPN solution, SafeMove enables flexible working with seamless mobility between wired and wireless access networks. Suitable for the public sector, service providers and large enterprises, Thales SafeMove provides mobile workforces with easy, secure access to all IT applications and services regardless of time and location, using the best network access available.
Thales SafeMove combines traditional VPN technology with the latest Mobile IP standards. As a result, corporate applications and information can be securely accessed at any time from any place with SafeMove automatically selecting the best network access available. By harnessing this new technology the full benefits of flexible working can be achieved: ease-of-use for the employee, greater efficiency and productivity for the business and also less travel which benefits the environment.

"This is a strategic agreement for us and endorses our position as a forerunner in the emerging Mobile VPN market place," comments Matti Mujunen, CEO of Secgo Software. “We are pleased to partner with such a credible global player like Thales. This co-operation is a key element of our international growth plan.”
