The CESG is the UK Government's National Technical authority for the official use of cryptography, and more generally, for information security. CESG operates a scheme called CAPS (CESG Assisted Products Scheme) which is designed to support companies involved in commercial risk product development for the UK government market.
The Thales e-Security SafeDial and Datacryptor 2000 product ranges are CAPS approved.
