Pre-Sales Consulting
The Technical Consultants will work with customers once a requirement has been identified and detailed technical support is needed. The consulting is likely to include:

• Customer visits and workshops to establish requirements
• Technical presentations and product demonstrations of Thales e-Security products

Training

Thales e-Security offers comprehensive training on all the company’s security products. The courses offered can be a mixture of standard courses and courses tailored specifically for the client. Host Security Module Enhancement

Thales e-Security offers a development service for the creation of enhanced versions of the Host Security Module (HSM) range. The HSM is supplied with a large number of standard commands that support functions such as ATM PIN verification, Visa CVV management, Visa Cash, Message Authentication & PIN Mailer generation. However a customer of Thales e-Security may find that their project will require specialised commands be added to these standard commands. The customer will define what is required from the additional commands, and Thales e-Security will then specify, design, implement and test them. This is a very popular service and helps customers by removing the need for advanced technical skills that may be needed for only a short part of their project.

Project Management

The project managers and developers at Thales e-Security’s head quarters have considerable experience of running prestigious projects for internationally based companies. The Thales e-Security Engineering Group can develop software solutions that perform a complete customer cryptographic function at Client, Server or Host. Often the development focus is on software that links Thales hardware to the customer application via High Level APIs, providing simplified interfaces that help reduce a projects timescales and costs.
